Overview
Regeneration Project Officer Regeneration and Economic Development SALARY: £32,575 - £35,596 PA Grade 10 Pride in our Borough: A Borough that works for everyone Maidstone is engaged in an unprecedented scale of investment and intervention to support the growth of the local economy. We are looking for a dynamic, driven, experienced Project Officer to work in the Regeneration and Economic Development Team to develop and deliver capital projects and initiatives in support of the service and the Council’s Economic Development Strategy, from conception through to completion. We want to hear from people passionate about the role that regeneration can play in positively changing places. You will be required to deliver a suite of projects focused through effective project management and budget management and be able to negotiate and manage the relationships between stakeholders, including, employer’s agents, external funders and contractors. You will have a relevant degree level and / or qualification in project management or equivalent, knowledge of local economic development and regeneration issues and excellent communication and negotiation skills. The Council considers that all roles should be able to communicate clearly and concisely. The Council considers this to be a customer focused role and the ability to converse at ease with customers adapting communication style to suit differing audiences and provide advice in accurate spoken English is fundamental to the role. This is a full time position on a permanent contract.
