Hounslow Council is going through major change and it is an exciting place to be and build your career Senior Development Officer (Estate Regeneration) Salary: PO6 £44,607 to £47,551 London Hounslow is currently embarking on developing its 20 year estate regeneration programme. We are ambitious for our residents and to enable us to deliver on this agenda we are currently building a new estate regeneration team. As part of this process, we are recruiting for two regeneration roles, to join the newly established dynamic regeneration team. Working within the Development and Regeneration team, the Regeneration roles will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the proposed estate regeneration plans and redevelopment opportunities. As part of the Estate Regeneration Programme you will be part of a team responsible for delivering high quality new homes, together with commercial and community facilities, and significant public realm. As a key member of the team, and in partnership with our communities - you will help achieve the council’s Corporate housing pledge objectives and will also play a key role in creating better places for people to live and work in Hounslow. You may not have necessarily worked in delivering estate regeneration programmes before, but you will have worked in a property, development environment and will bring a track record of successfully delivering large and/or complex projects. These will be supported by financial and project management expertise, and ideally some commercial acumen to the financial appraisal of schemes while safeguarding their design quality. Importantly, you will work as team, build positive relationships with local communities, partners, and work effectively with members and senior Council officers. The estate regeneration team is tasked with delivering an ambitious programme to build genuinely affordable homes and shape local areas across the borough in partnership with local residents and businesses.
