As a Support Developer, you will be involved in supporting any code issues that are raised by the business, looking into any bug fixes that are sent over from our 2nd Line Support teams. Applications supported range from in-house developed systems to third party software created across multiple technology frameworks. You will work closely with the Service Management and Development teams, utilising the core ITIL principles in Change, Release, Incident and Problem management and supporting continuous improvement. This team is currently going through changes in their support which will give you a great opportunity to cross skill into different functions. You will be provided with training and support to ensure that you are constantly learning and able to work with the new technologies being introduced. Key Accountabilities Triage and resolve software application issues, including software debugging, analysing performance and data anomalies and coordinating fixes. Work with multiple teams across the business to determine the root cause of issues. Development of automated processes to replace manual tasks and reduce associated risks. Maintain and update knowledge bases for support group Collaborate with individuals and teams to promote knowledge sharing Complete system configuration, supporting implementation and deployments Optional OOH support Skills & Experience Strong analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills Experienced Developer working with multiple languages (JAVA, .NET, Cobol) Demonstrated experience liaising with stakeholders to understand problems and working through proposed solutions Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including international clients Must be equally comfortable working independently and in a team Understanding of ITIL framework and SDLC concepts and methodologies Specific Key Benefits of the Role Computershare offers all employees 25 days holiday, an excellent pension scheme, shareholder incentive plan (buy one get one free on all shares purchased), subsidised gym membership and a flexible employee benefits scheme (including the option to buy additional annual leave).
