Finance Manager | Marketing & Branding Agency | London Harmonic are excited to be recruiting for a leading niche Media Agency, that specialise within the 'luxury' space. The company directors are looking for a confident and sociable accountant to support the business as it continues to scale. Particularly notable, is that they are located in a amazing converted mid-century building furnished with beautiful Scandinavian-style furniture in the heart of Shoreditch. Moreover, the work-environment has a true family-feel to it, with colleagues socialising with each other frequently. There are around 20 employees and the business has a turnover of around £5 million and are very profitable. As the company expands, there is scope for this position to eventually become the Finance Director. The Role Although you will have access to ad-hoc support from a very experienced CFO/FD (4 days per month if you feel this is helpful) and an accountancy practice, this role requires a real 'all-rounder' who isn't afraid to balance some more complex duties with (low-volume) transactional duties. Your role will cover: Production of the P&L and Management Accounts Working on controlling costs and maintaining profitability Responsible for liaising with Senior management on budgeting and forecasting Working with the Creative team and Account Directors to run Commercial Finance activities (including creating pricing strategies for project bids, studio bulling time and finance business partnering with the MD) Weekly cashflow forecasting Liaise with Accountancy practice to ensure accurate VAT and stat returns Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable What we need to see (essential): At least Part-Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) Experience working at Management Accountant or Finance Manager level Past industry experience in the creative industries (TV, Film, Music, Media, Entertainment) What we'd like to see (bonus): Prior work at a creative Agency (media, marketing, TV & Film, Design) Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 If this is something of interest, please get in touch with your CV at or give me a call on
