Finance Manager Job in South West London paying £35,000 - £40,000 Your new company A SME business is recruiting a standalone Finance Manager to join their fast-growing business. This an entrepreneurial and thriving business looking for a forward thinking and motivated finance professional to join their company. Your new role You will be working in a sole charge Finance Manager position who will be responsible for recording the day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process. You will carry out the preparation and reporting of management accounts and month end activities including prepayments, accruals and journals. You will conduct monthly bank reconciliations and ensure to raise invoices to clients and ensure customers receivables are collected promptly. You will also be involved in preparation of all supplier payments for weekly Bacs run. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparation of monthly payroll and submission of quarterly VAT returns, assisting external accountants with annual statutory accounts and tax returns. What you'll need to succeed The successful applicant will have experience of working in a sole charge role (within a SME business) and producing full sets of monthly management accounts. You will have completed AAT or equivalent PQ or QBE. Prior experience of Quickbooks would be advantageous. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential (including pivots and v-lookups) for this position. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability work under pressure and being a confident self-starter.
