Overview

YMCA DOWNSLINK GROUP Wellbeing & Therapeutic Services Manager Brighton & Hove Fixed Term Contract – 1-year Maternity Cover (with possible extension) 37 Hours per week £40,000 per annum We are recruiting an operational lead for the provision of our innovative Primary Care Counselling and Wellbeing Services in Brighton & Hove. These services are delivered as a collaboration with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust and Southdown Housing; and provide mental health support for young people aged 2-25. Applicants must have experience in operational management. Experience of working children and young people is desirable. The Service Manager will lead on the operational day-to-day running of the service; including developing, implementing and reviewing operational systems. They will have responsibility for tracking and forecasting of demand, capacity and waiting list management in the following areas: client assessments and treatment, allocations, referrals, triage and waiting lists. This is an exciting role, where you will be responsible for driving forwards project mobilisation, developing a range of counselling and wellbeing offers to meet the needs of children and young people up to the age of 25, and managing performance against contractual Local Quality Requirements. It is important that service user’s feedback is embedded in the development and delivery of services and that we create opportunities for young people to participate in co-production opportunities. You will oversee the production of joint quarterly reports and any other monitoring information as required by commissioners, stakeholders, funders and other appropriately interested parties.
