Job Description
Talking Changes is a partnership of experienced local and national providers of psychological therapies with a strong track record of success. It is being led by Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust in collaboration with Mental Health Matters. Successful candidates may be employed by either organisation. The post holder will work within the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service providing high volume low intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to service to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression and will receive excellent support in their role, including extensive clinical and caseload supervision. You may be required to work late evenings up until 8pm up to three times a week at our service headquarters at Lanchester Road Hospital or from venues in agreed localities depending on the needs of the service. You may also be employed by any of the three organisations. To be eligible for this position you must have completed or be close to completing the Low Intensity training in Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT).
