Overview

Kinetica are currently on the lookout for a Clinical Lead to join an innovative care organisation that cares for patients across London and the home counties, focusing on providing exceptional services within a growing number of walk-in centres, community services and GP practices. This role involves leading the clinical teams in the delivery of highest clinical standards, liaising with the Service Manager and the Lead Nurse to ensure the best service. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing complete UCC consultations with assessment, treatment and management of patients of all ages presenting with primary care problems Completing all administration work relating to consultations Providing professional leadership and support for all teams Developing strong professional relationships with the hospital clinicians, including identifying and resolving any concerns regarding performance Advising patients over the phone following referral from 111, conducting home visits when required Maintaining awareness of all relevant company policies and procedures, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, safeguarding and health and safety Completing appropriate professional development activities to maintain clinical knowledge Supervising and training junior clinicians and supporting the Lead Nurse with the training of the nurse team Liaising with the Service Manager and Lead Nurse when managing and promoting the needs of the services and the day to day management of the GP team Assisting in the recruitment of any new clinical staff and conducting staff inductions for new GPs (including Bank GPs) Reporting on audits and implementing recommendations Candidate requirements: Full registration as a GP with GMC MRCGP trained Solid GP experience, 3 years Adaptable and enthusiastic Excellent communication skills Significant A&E or UCC experience would be advantageous to your application Previous experience of clinical management/leadership and teaching/supervision Experience of Clinical Governance processes Great team player Experience of using UC IT systems e.g. ADASTRA would be advantageous As part of the application process, we will store your details on our database.
