Title: Change Analyst (Energy) Salary: £28K - £33K excellent benefits package Location: Central London Role Purpose: Would you like to be a key source of knowledge and advice on the governance of change within a regulation environment? Do you have an analytical mind set and a desire to use it to solve technical problems? As a Change Analyst you will assess and research changes and present your findings through a series of reports and presentations to industry expert Workgroups and the BSC Panel (including its sub-Committees). At the heart of the Change Analyst role you will be required to summarise large amounts of often complex information in a clear and concise manner, organise and plan the progression of BSC changes, and have strong business acumen. You will be expected to progress multiple BSC changes simultaneously both individually and as part of the wider team. Does this sound like you? Apply today Job Responsibilities: Research, assess and progress BSC Changes in line with agreed processes, timescales and quality standards. Gather necessary information and data by co-ordinating and managing groups Write clear business requirements for changes that reflect agreed solutions. Keep internal and external customers up to date with the progress of changes under assessment Identify and report the impact of potential changes to the BSC Produce and present Modification/Change Proposal reports for Workgroups, Panel Committees and Ofgem Ensure that change documentation is stored and accurately maintained Produce change progression plans detailing the activities and resources needed to progress BSC changes Lead and deliver change aligned to progression plans so that changes are completed effectively and efficiently, in line with agreed process. Actively develop and improve the BSC change processes for the benefit of the industry. Ensure that process improvements are implemented in a timely manner Review relevant policies and procedures Experience Required: Proficient at delivering presentations requiring decision to internal and external colleagues Able to present large amounts of complex information in a simple, clear and concise manner. Have excellent report writing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Be able to engage with and proactively build positive relationships with customers To be able to facilitate internal and external meetings, capturing business needs. To have or be able to develop generic business analysis skills. To have or be able to acquire generic knowledge of the roles of the BSC Panel, Panel Committees, Ofgem and Modification workgroups, including their powers, responsibilities and operating procedures
