Overview

Our client is a very reputable private school situated in Wimbourne, surrounded by 250 acres of beautiful parkland A Boarding House Matron is required to support the Housemaster and his team in looking after the welfare of the boarders and the smooth running of the house. Court House is one of the School's newer boarding houses and accommodates approximately 60 boy boarders. A caring, friendly personality is essential as is the ability to use the School's IT systems. Prior experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage. The successful candidate will work approximately 35½ hours per week over five days with hours ideally worked on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Flexibility is essential as Matrons are expected to assist on Open Days and at other House events and also provide cover for sickness when necessary.
