Were looking for a Courier Operations Manager to join our fast-growing (now 50+) London Operations team reporting to Camille Boulay, Head of Courier Operations. No two consecutive days at Stuart are alike: your goal will be to lead the Onboarding Process team within Courier Operations; to drive operational excellence throughout this essential part of the courier journey; to strive to make this process as smooth as possible from a courier perspective while maintaining the highest compliance standards and healthy financials. Responsibilities * Own Stuarts courier onboarding process for the UK business, including funnel KPIs, compliance standards and equipment process for all new couriers * Create and deliver on onboarding process improvement strategies and projects in coordination with other operational teams * Work closely with the City Managers in the City Operations team, as well as Customer Support, to collect operational feedback about the performance of our onboarding process; use data to validate hypotheses and rollout changes * Own the onboarding P&L and devising on innovative ways to reduce our cost per onboarded courier * Monitor the effectiveness of our compliance process; work hand in hand with the Compliance lead to improve background check and insurance processes as part of the overall onboarding flow * In collaboration with the analytics team, make sure to always have the data at hand to be able to proactively flag blockers in the funnel that would negatively impact the key metrics (eg conversion rate, time through the funnel) * Manage a growing team of seven Operations Executives within Courier Operations (four direct reports) Requirements * 5+ years of work experience in a relevant area such as operations or consulting, including building and managing teams in high-velocity operational environments * You are able to rapidly identify opportunities for improvement and to support your team with the necessary guidance and tools for them to provide robust and scalable solutions * You have great communication & collaboration skills with a passion for building strong relationships and working cross-functionally in order to establish and meet shared organisational goals * You can break complex problems into smaller logical ones and prioritise them with solid data analysis. You have the ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans * You possess strong organisational skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders to adapt processes or adopt new tools * You are willing to learn a business from the ground up and are not afraid to champion your opinion and ideas!
