Overview
Who are they? My client is a market leading advisory firm with a unique model that is a hybrid between advisory, consulting and expert networks. What do they do? Facilitate tailored and exclusive partnerships that lead to optimal decision making and game-changing value creation. They are a unique advisory firm disrupting the traditional consulting world/ Expert Network world. Clients (PE and high growth companies) come to them with a brief containing all the information they desire to make a strategic decision (invest abroad, restructure internal teams) They then tailor their research based on the information desired to find the most suitable expert, who will work as an 'advisor' exclusively to that client. The Role The role is an associate position in the execution team. This incorporates a broad range of responsibilities. You will experience hands on business exposure that many other companies simply don't provide. In addition, your network and commercial acumen will grow exponentially as you interact with senior personnel ranging from well know FTSE 250's to exciting new tech start-ups. Responsibilities include: Interact daily with clients to help fully understand their needs and preferences Researching to find the most specific advisor through a variety of means (cold calling, network referrals, professional associations) Communicate the value of joining my clients network Interviewing and selecting the most appropriate advisor for the client account that you'll be running Setting up regular meeting with clients to deliver on-going projects (full 360-degree cycle) Requirements: Strong desk research skills Good written communication skills Good verbal communication skills - able to interact and build relationships with high calibre executives General business understanding / commercially minded - able to identify and articulate key diligence and value creation points around assets across a variety of sectors Organised - able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Hard-working, drive, tenacious, dynamic and ready to learn Able to work in a fast-paced environment High level of intellect and strong academic record Ideally some previous business experience Salary £30k bonuses Bonus: Start Up Company Feel Valued Lots of responsibility Promotion is quick As the business grows you grow Opening offices in Paris and New York - opportunity to travel
