Graduate / Junior Mechanical Engineer - Dorset - £25,000 - £35,000 A technologically cutting edge engineering company is seeking to hire a Graduate / Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team based in Dorset, on a permanent basis. Working within an R&D / low volume environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design of mechanical components and systems in support of the company's product range. Other responsibilities include; conducting stress analysis calculations, generating CAD models, generating and maintaining documentation and design records, and test building and prototype testing of new equipment. In order to be considered for this opportunity, candidates must hold a formal qualification i.e. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related subject. It would be advantageous to have spent 1 - 2 years in industry, as it would be to have a knowledge of precision machined parts. This role will suit an aspiring and passionate engineer who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty or get their teeth into new and exciting projects. This role is based in Dorset and is commutable from Ringwood, Bournemouth, Poole, Blandford Forum, Weymouth, Yeovil, Salisbury, Warminster and other areas within Dorset, Hampshire, Somerset and the South West.
