UI Graphic Design Engineer (Node.js) - North Dorset

A GUI Developer / UI Graphic Design Engineer is required by a successful and secure technology company based in North Dorset. Experience in graphical user interface (GUI) and Node.js design and development is essential. This is a great position will give you the opportunity and responsibility to provide guidance, mentoring and skills training to junior level members of the team who will learn from your experience in innovative GUI design, development and best practice. Responsibilities: * Create innovative designs, including websites, visuals, plugins, technical design documentation, testing and monitoring * Evolve, maintain and increase the quality of the company's responsive GUI analytics * Drive innovative GUI design, development and best practice * Produce design proposals, unit testing and in-code API documentation * Integrate new and existing platforms * Work on physical and virtual infrastructures * Work alongside a project team on cyber products that protect clients against security threats Skills/Requirements: * Must be eligible to obtain SC or DV Clearance * Node.js and GUI development * Elasticsearch or Kibana (or similar high rate and volume distributed analytics and data platforms) * Linux * IP Networking (e.g. OSI model) * Understanding of Agile development methodology, continuous integration and automated build platforms * Competent in analysing risk and root cause Salary/Benefits: The salary for this role is highly competitive and can be negotiated for the right person depending on your level of experience and relevant skills.
