Overview

Desktop Support Engineer Up to £23 per hour (Inside IR35) Leahtherhead 12 month contract Responsibilities: Installation, moves and decommissioning of desk equipment (workstations, docking stations, monitors, local printers, peripherals, network printers & MFDs) Break/fix support for desktop equipment (deskside & in the IT Solution Centre) Staging, racking, installation, set-up and patching of IT infrastructure such as servers, network, storage devices and audio-visual equipment Performing tape backup & restore support, physical tape management and related offsite storage coordination activities Essential Requirements: Good working knowledge of intel-based PC hardware and MS-Windows 7, 8 & 10 OS Good working knowledge of MS-Office products including Outlook Working knowledge of servers and network equipment (including network patching) £23 per hour (Inside IR35) Please send an up to date CV for immediate attention Spring Technology acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
