Our client is looking for IT Desktop Engineer

Qualifications

• Skilled with data entry and dialer platforms.

• Knowledgeable about Active Directory management.

• Can communicate clearly and effectively with users and team members.

• Proficient in Windows OS (Windows 10 and Windows 11).

• Has a high school diploma.

• Has 5 CSEC subjects grade 1 to 3, including English.

• Preferably, has a Bachelor of Science degree in a computer-related field, or equivalent computer certifications.

• Knows A+, Network+, MCSA, and MCSE.

• Has 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manage the approval, deployment, auditing, and reporting of workstation patching processes using SolarWinds Patch Manager and WSUS.

• Oversee the deployment, auditing, and reporting of anti-malware software installations, updates, and functionalities, working closely with Security Operations to resolve issues as needed.

• Create and deliver customized reports from Lansweeper on hardware/software compliance, unauthorized software installations, environmental anomalies, etc.

• Manage all aspects of Active Directory and Group Policy maintenance within the Desktop Support OU structure. Ensuring standardization compliance, naming convention/organizational compliance, Group Policy inheritance, enforcement and structural compliance, AD/GPO cleanup, etc.

• Assist with all reporting and audit requirements (GESP, PCI, clients).
