Virtual Desktop Engineer - Needs Active DV Clearance Location: London Rates: Market Rates Duration: 3 Months Initial My client is of need of a VDI Engineer who shall perform design, implementation, and configuration of virtualized and physical IT architectures supporting virtualized and physical desktop environments. Key Skills: * Manage HIPS, DLPe, Application Control, Change Control, ENS policies * Expert-level knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems and applications, preferably Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 * Building, configuring, and deploying enterprise policy orchestrator and agent handler servers * Review policies and exceptions for the various End Point Security modules and provide best practice recommendations * Analyze, architect, test and document deployment strategy of endpoint security systems mandated by client * Work directly with Vendor and Engineering on improvements of the project's solutions * Generate solutions to complex problems which integrate into the program environment * Identify issues and create improvement processes to help with the reduction of incident outage times * Operational understating of server-desktop type enterprise application setups * Operational understating of packaging, distribution, and post deployment configuration of common productivity software * Operational understating of virtual desktop infrastructure, preferably VMware Horizon View To discuss this opportunity in more detail please get in touch on j.scott@nigelfrank or call me on 0203 826 6769.
