Position : Customer Service Manager - UK & International Salary & benefits: Competitive ( Bonus) Working hours 8:00am to 4:30pm (1 hour lunch) 24 days annual leave plus 8 days bank Holidays Company pension contribution as per legal requirement Huntress recruitment's Harlow office are working with a leading global wholesaler/distributor of pharmaceuticals, specialising in importing and exporting pharmaceuticals to markets across the globe is looking to hire an experienced international customer service manager to lead a growing team. This role is looking for a genuine leader who can identify areas for improvement and efficiency and then implement those, alongside the day-to-day management of the team. There are 3 main areas of duties as part of this role: Team management Lead, motivate and coach the Customer Service team. Deliver excellent, prompt and consistent customer service levels across the team. Drive continuous improvement in people and systems performance to enable improved customer service productivity. Identify, implement and monitor KPI performance. Ensure adequate and timely training are performed. Ensure team's compliance with electronic filing as per procedures and SOPs. Responsible for department recruitment and retention. Process management and improvements Recommend improvements to systems and processes to generate efficiencies and increase effectiveness. Where improvements are approved, ensure delivery of those improvements within agreed time-frames. Provide proactive communication to key internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the Customer Service operation. Customer related functions Responsible for developing strong relationships with assigned personal client portfolio. Process accurately and manage promptly enquiries, quotes, sales orders, invoices as per internal processes. Issue picking lists & dispatch notes and organise deliveries with the Logistics department. Follow up and deliver on back orders. Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and prompt progress of operations. Organise customer allocation to the Customer Service team Qualifications, skills & experience needed: Minimum 2 years' experience of managing a Customer Service team. Strong leadership and ability to motivate. Excellent verbal and written skills. Professional telephone manner. Knowledge and experience of the wholesale sector beneficial - Ideally within a regulated industry. Knowledge of foreign languages highly desirable but not essential.
