Our Clients are a leading provider of tailored Managed Services and Compliance and Outsourced AML/KYC services to their customers. Based in the London office, the Commercial Director (Business Development) Software Solutions will be responsible to lead all commercial aspects of the Compliance Services Software business. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast paced, entrepreneurial, fast growing professional services solutions provider in London, UK. The right candidate will have proven experience in implementing commercial business plans for software solutions. The candidate will have a background in software business development and pre-sales, preferably in workflow solutions, compliance applications or AML/KYC applications. The role is defined with an emphasis on all commercial aspects of their software and have some interaction with the more technical software development teams. Key for this role will be very strong communication skills, client analysis skills, technical aptitude and an ability to formulate and present conceptual software ideas clearly in a client-facing environment. Attend key pre-sales client meetings to present the software suite capabilities to clients. Design and scope client requirements and communicate clearly to software customisation teams. Champion new software products and managed service launches by working closely with Marketing and Communications teams. Creating strategies to launch software into the market and being involved in the whole process. Key elements: Our Client would want to see candidates from professional services firms and/or financial services only Looking for someone to come in, understand what the software does and take it to market. • Ideally understand Compliance industry but not absolutely necessary. More vital you understand how to take a software product to market from PF, legal, FS (buy side ) etc. • Evidence of experience within BDM/Sales/Pre-sales/marketing background in Professional services background, legal firm, accounting firm, FS (buy side) • Needs to develop the strategy with MDs and senior Stake Holders • Knowledge and interaction of relationships with institutional clients • Needs to be in a software platform product • Very strong experience in similar position • Demonstrable commercial acumen • Brought software product to market • Client communication skills • Product presentation skills • Won't be cold calling or following leads, but will be introducing product to potential clients Will be doing lots of demos etc. and liaise with thesales and marketing teams This position will define commercial strategy for software suite - scope market, id client needs, create and implement commercial strategy to launch software to the market.
