Job Title - Commercial New Business Account Handler Contract - Permanent Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 Location - London (City) Industry - Insurance Broker (Insurance, Broking, Commercial, Development, New Business) _________________________________________________________________________________ The Role:- Our client, an expanding Insurance Broker based in the City of London are currently seeking experienced Commercial New Business Account Handler to join their sales team. Responsibilities will include:- ·To assist the current broking team to win new business from leads generated by our in-house marketing team ·To enhance their knowledge of the Insurance requirements of the construction sector and begin to build their own book of clients ·To provide day to day support and assistance to the team as required Role Requirements:- ·Effective communication and presentation skills; ·Prioritising risks to manage current workflow; ·Negotiation and influencing skills; ·Maintain close working relationships; ·Sound knowledge of Commercial classes of business; ·Self-motivated and works with little supervision; ·Proactive service attitude towards maximising income opportunities; ·Positive mind-set; ·Good team player; ·Able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines when required; ·High level of attention to detail; ·Ability to explain technical information ·Good computer skills; Requirements:- ·Good telephone manner ·Good knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft products such as Word, Office and Excel ·A drive to achieve individual sales targets whilst working as part of a team ·Some knowledge and experience broking Insurance types such as Combined Liability, Contractors All Risks, Professional Indemnity, Motor Fleet is essential ·A self-motivated attitude towards work and the successes of the company ·The desire and ability to generate own leads in quiet periods to ensure sales targets are met If you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact us now on or email us at _________________________________________________________________________________ To view all Current Vacancies or for more information on our Refer a Friend scheme, contact one of our consultants or visit our website www.lawesgroup.co.uk Please Note: Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we will only contact successful applications.
