Chief Data Officer | London & Barcelona | Equity | Data Science | Artificial Intelligence | Negotiable Package Your new company Is one of Europe's leading technology Venture Capital Firms and they have invested in over 60 of the most successful £billion tech start ups in recent years. Your new company need a Chief Data Officer to help maintain, innovate and implement data infrastructure for one particular venture in order to be able to scale up and potentially bring to market. Your new role As a Chief Data Officer you will be responsible for a team of around 25 people. Most of your team will comprise of Data Scientists so therefore knowledge or a history of managing Data science teams would be appreciated; around 15 of the team will be Inhouse and some outsourced. You will not only be responsible for managing a team but you will also report directly into the technical partner who would give you commercial deliverables. What you'll need to succeed Experience leading Data Scientist teams Track record of driving revenue and or reducing costs Entrepreneurial Mindset Flexibility to travel internationally Experience leading data and analytics start up functions is preferred but not essential Strong Academic Background Commercial & Business acumen which can be evidenced by references.
