Overview
A growing international cloud technology business is looking for a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will take ownership of the finance function with a focus on improving and implementing processes across the group and build a sustainable team that is fit for growth. The Financial Controller position will be a broad remit covering all core aspects of monthly financial processes as well as considerable exposure to strategy and commercial finance. The Financial Controller will report to the CFO and will gain significant exposure to the Board and senior leadership team of the organisation. This is a high profile role and a key hire for the business as they navigate uncertain market circumstances. Due to the nature of their AI and 'Machine Learning' technology, the business expects to be able to ride out this global crisis and actually get a jump on the market when it returns. Their software automates a wide range of business processes that can save an organisation considerable money and they therefore expect to be able to offer their clients great value in a challenging market. The ideal profile is a qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with several years post-qualified experience in finance leadership roles. Exposure to the tech sector would be beneficial. Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic, changing environment is essential.
