Overview
My exclusive client is looking to appoint an experienced Transactional Finance Manager to lead a team of talented individuals responsible for driving results through a constant focus on improving operations, systems, and processes. My client offers a fast-paced environment, with an opportunity to implement huge change, this role is an important partner and advisor to the business. Key responsibilities include: Support, guide and develop a team of 30 people Refine KPI’s and develop metrics for core processes Oversee a high-volume payroll process Ensure financial reporting around transactional activity costs is maintained at a high level, suitable for audit Identify financial and operational risks and opportunities both internal to Finance Operations and to the business, driving ad-hoc projects as required Direct the month and year end financial accounting processes within the transactional finance area such as the preparation and review of key balance sheet and bank reconciliations Develop controls and processes to maintain a strong financial control environment Oversight of the cash forecasting process Develop forward-thinking analysis to generate management reports to scale automated financial processes The ideal candidate will have: A good understanding of accounting principles and the full end to end accounting process An ability to build strong working relationships with your team and colleagues across the business Experience in leading teams, people, projects, and developing people and their careers A recognised accountancy qualification with practical experience of core accounting and transactional finance processes Excellent MS Excel skills An ability to take charge, motivate others, set objectives, and drive results Effective analytical, complex problem solving, business acumen and communication skills As well as a competitive salary a comprehensive benefits package is on offer including: 24 days holiday plus Birthday leave with the option to buy/sell holidays Private healthcare Employer matched pension scheme Employee shared ownership Social events Enhanced maternity and paternity pay Free healthy breakfasts Volunteering scheme Interest free travel to work and learning loans Life assurance cover Volunteering scheme Eyecare vouchers
