Overview
Dartmouth have been retained by a high growth and acquisitive media group to find a Finance Director for the business. Encompassing production, merchandising and licencing companies along with a media investment and advisory business the group can provide a diversified product offering to a select group of common clients. With the backing of several high net worth individuals, the company is now poised to expand further and requires a Finance Director to lead this. The ideal candidate will be hands on and willing to get into the detail whilst being able to partner with demanding stakeholders and drive the strategic vision of the group. Key Responsibilities: To oversee the financial and commercial functions across the group Partner with the CEO to bring the strategic vision of the business to life Leading on Budgeting, Forecasting and Cashflow across the group Cultivating stakeholder relationships internally and externally Take an active role in developing and driving the strategic focus of the organisation Working closely with an outsourced accounting function to deliver monthly management accounts Leading on key acquisitions and disposals across the group Monitor banking activities of the organisation Review and monitoring of Group statutory accounts & tax position, calculations and filings Desired Skills and Experience: Significant Experience working within TV Production, Broadcasting or the wider media sector Experience working previous at a Finance Director for a minimum of 3 years Experience working within an investor backed business Executing M&A work would be a distinct advantage Chartered Accountant or similar qualification Extensive experience in developing relationships with demanding stakeholders
