What a great thing to be a part of" The role of Head Financial Controller To manage & oversee the preparation of all the groups UK statutory financial statements c.3 entities with substantial complexity & revenue. The statements are prepared in conformity with FRS102 for statutory reporting purposes. Develop and improve the control of financial information for the Board (Including VAT, Stock control, Invoices) Develop, motivate and lead a diverse team (3 Qualified Accountants, 3 studying accountants) Lead the team in management accounts preparation. Lead the team in resolving correct accounting treatment in new areas as the company grows. Responsible for the quality of all company accounting functions, policies, procedures and the integrity of all accounting data and reports Develop and improve processes to ensure best in class financial control of company spend and assets Lead audit coordination for statutory audits and assurance reports Excellent knowledge of current regulations including FRS102, Companies Acts and Regulatory Licenses You should also have a strong knowledge of core financial systems and general accounting procedures and you should be adaptive to changing objectives and priorities to deliver results and be focused on creating value for the Business. Key qualifications and skills: Experienced in Financial Control under FRS102 across a dynamic and complex business is essential. Led company-side on full audit process with external auditors Experience of developing controls and procedures on balance sheet accounts 5 year PQE ACA/ACCA or equivalent Interaction with a matrix of stakeholders at many levels Proven team management and development Strong Microsoft Excel skills Highly numerical and comfortable with handling large data sets Key attributes: Hard working, someone who will get things done, and done well Comfortable working with senior management and board directors Incredibly methodical and logical in thinking Highly Organised with exceptional attention to detail Someone who will take ownership Friendly, down to earth team player mentality.
