Overview
This is a high growth specialist consumer goods company with global activities. The company is ambitious, successful and is thriving owing to some clever use of technology and a strong investment in it people and systems. As the company grows and expands its global footprint it needs to continue to develop and refine its logistics network or distribution centres and specialist carriers. This role will present you with an opportunity to run a global network both from operational and strategic standpoints. You will develop new and innovative ways of working, review new sites and facilities, lead projects, head up commercial negotiations, develop long terms plans and work with suppliers. All this in conjunction with the management of a fast-paced day-to-day operation. You background will ideally be in e-commerce or retail logistics, and you will have managed end-to-end supply chains. You will have experience in developing new sites, and working with specialist parcel carriers. This role is based in Jersey but a degree of flexibility is available in terms of your working patterns.
