Senior Support Worker - Forensic Mental Health Oxford, OX4. £9.50 pr hr (Also recruiting a Deputy Manager - Forensic Mental Health) We are seeking a dynamic, caring and understanding individual for the position of Senior Support Worker. Based at our specialist residential and domiciliary service in Oxford supporting individuals who have a criminal background in addition to diagnosis of mental health disorders and associated complex needs: such as personality disorder, mild learning disabilities, acquired brain injury and associated challenging behaviours. Your duties will include supporting the Home Manager, and deputising their absence, to undertake all aspects of managing the home, ensuring that high standards of care and support are maintained and adhering to all requirements and regulations. It is essential for candidates to have had considerable experience within a forensic mental health environment. Skills Required Have a 'can-do' approach to new tasks Motivated, hard working and enthusiastic Adapt to new situations and read others efficiently Able to work calmly and efficiently within a busy and intensive environment dealing with unpredictable situations Confident and resilient Approachable, able to develop trusting relationships with service users and theire extended Mental Health teams to achieve positive outcomes.
