Overview

Chief of Staff London (either Stratford or Central London - White City) Full-time (part-time will be considered) Competitive salary in line with the seniority of the role and experience required. Please note that CRUK is acting as a host for EDDRP UK. The employer of this role is EDDRP UK. The Early Disease Detection Research Project UK (EDDRP UK) is a major new initiative that aims to establish the world's largest research cohort of five million volunteers, and which will support studies to identify risk factors for major chronic diseases. The EDDRP UK will integrate clinical, genetic, behavioural, and environmental data acquired from volunteers, enabling the development and evaluation of new approaches in identifying individuals at risk of common diseases and the technology that allows the early detection of disease. The initiative will benefit from significant financial support from UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), as well as from major disease charities and both diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies. This initiative, supported by the UK Government, aims to build a major resource hosted by a new organisation that can support a diverse range of research intended to improve the early detection, risk stratification and early intervention in chronic diseases in pre-symptomatic individuals. This role will be to support the set up and landing of the project. EDDRP UK is now seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Chief of Staff (CoS). The CoS will be responsible for ensuring that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is focused on the most relevant topics, drive key initiatives and follow-up on the CEOs decisions/actions. Strong academic background with minimum a Bachelor's degree Minimum 4 years' experience in a Chief of Staff/Operations Director role in a healthcare related organisation Experience working in either a pharmaceutical or biotech organisation is highly desirable Experience in the execution of clinical trials or observational/epidemiological studies Experience with data analytics, understanding trends based on data and deriving insights Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, gain insights, create commercial suggestions and present these to the business Closing date: Please note the closing date has been extended to 1st April 2020 (inclusive)
