Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for Clinical lead Social work band 7 position to join an inner London Crisis Service. The City and Hackney Crisis and Home Treatment Team is a multi-disciplinary team which respond to immediate crisis and endeavour to help people receive the treatment they need in their home rather than being admitted to hospital. To meet guidance set out by NHS England and the five year forward view the team has expanded and offer an enhanced service by operating 24 hours. The post holder with other clinical leads will be a senior member of staff providing supporting advice to staff working within the City and Hackney Crisis Service within the Home Treatment Team, Crisis line and Urgent Assessment to City and Hackney Centre for Mental Health. The successful candidate will be expected to be a highly motivated, flexible, keen to make a difference in this diverse and dynamic environment. They should also be a role model to other members of staff and provide high quality and effective assessments of individuals with mental health problems referred to the service. The service is part of East London NHS Foundation Trust which was given an outstanding rating by the Care Quality Commission in 2018.
