Overview
Are you a part-qualified accountant who is committed to qualifying, and wants to climb the finance ladder? Would you like to work for a business going through an exciting growth transition? Based from modern offices in Shoreditch with regular team socials, the position of Finance Manager has been created to support the CFO. This fantastic opening, will give a growing finance professional the opportunity to gain experience in financing, M&A, operational finance, as well as systems integration. Your role will be to oversee the Group finance function, and to support the Group business functions in operating efficiently and commercially. Duties will include: - Ensuring all accounting records are kept up to date for the Group to ensure a true reflection of performance - Ensure all balance sheet reconciliation are completed accurately on a monthly basis - Ensure all transactional items are processed in a timely manner, including production of sales invoices and processing of supplier invoices - Producing routine monthly management accounts on time - Supporting external advisors in the production of statutory accounts, to include consolidated accounts - Production of quarterly sales tax returns - Managing group payroll - Managing cash collection and debtors to agreed targets - Supporting the CFO in the production of the annual budgets - Producing the rolling forecasts - Support business projects in a finance capacity The Person: - Part qualified ACCA/CIMA; wanting to climb the ladder - Tenacious individual with a passion for bringing finance to the forefront of decision making - Experienced in managing multiple deadlines and prioritising conflicting deadlines - Experience of working within an SME; the ideal candidate will come from a 'services’ background; used to managing time and reporting on project performance - Advanced Excel skills - strong data management skills, e.g. building reports and drawing insights from data - Proactive problem solver - your ideas will be listened to and implemented for the good of the business Should you like the sound of this exciting opportunity and feel that you have the right skill-set, and are ambitious and tenacious in your career profile, please contact Samantha Harris for further information.
