Overview

We're looking for an individual to join NCS's team as their new NCS Graduate Apprentice. NCS is a government-backed programme established in 2011 to help build a more cohesive, mobile and engaged society. Throughout your time with the organisation, you will be providing overall support to a variety of teams. An NCS Graduate is someone who has completed the NCS programme (not a university graduate). A typical day Coordinate and evolve 'Grad Talk’ - a monthly opportunity to bring Grads (individuals who have completed the NCS programme) into our London office and engage with our employees Work with team Coordinators to support and develop our Grad journeys Support the Graduate team to meet our Extension Phase objectives Support other departments to bring the voice of our Graduates into the organisation through events and questionnaires Provide administrative support for Projects. With the possibility to develop into project coordination Raise POs for the Programme Department Visit our partners and accurately capture Grad activity Handle multiple PR/Media requests for NCS Grads Monitor and respond to queries/requests via the Grad inbox Post certificates and validate DofE requests Maintain a complete list of NCS Grad involvement, including basic Salesforce reporting Book travel and accommodation Coordinate and process expenses Provide administration support to the team Attend events in a supervisory role You must have Five GCSE grades C - A (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths Skills needed A working knowledge of the NCS programme and its Grad community Ability to collaborate as a team player Ability to prioritise and work diligently to a clear deadline Ability to manage own workload 'Can do’ attitude Eagerness to develop and learn quickly Drive to further understand NCS in a wider context across other teams Awareness of and commitment to the NCS ethos and principles Perks and benefits: Bike to work scheme Casual dress code Discounts Flexible working hours Gym membership Mentor scheme Pension Pet-friendly office Showers on-site Volunteering WhiteHat Community Training provided: Training on the 18 month Standard Level 3 Business Administration (BA3) apprenticeship.
