Finance Manager - Start-up Retail Business Your new company Currently I am recruiting a new Finance Manager for a start-up Retailer based in Central London. This is a pivotal role within the business as they are continuing on an exciting journey of a rapid growth and change. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and will accurately manage all financial transactions, queries and questions in a timely and professional manner. Your new role Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Stock valuation and reporting Weekly or monthly KPI outputs, including sales and margin by customer, product and channel Support in managing relationship with both external auditors and external advisers Resolving accounting queries posed by the business Accounting for payroll, associated taxes and sales tax management Support in preparing financial information for year-end audit, half year interim accounts and subsidiaries During month end accounting close routines, general ledger journals and consolidation of management accounts What you`ll need to succeed For this role we are looking for someone who is: ACA/ ACCA or CIMA fully Qualified Strong accounting, bookkeeping and problem-solving skills Ideally someone who comes straight out of practise but open to industry trained candidates as well Motivated, can-do attitude and a multi tasker Strong Excel and communication skills What you will get in return The new Finance Manager will work closely with the Financial Controller, so they can both take the finance department to the next level. You will also work regularly with various departments across the business and management. You will work in a brand new office located in Central London and have a competitive salary package.
