The Richmond Fellowship Scotland support a wide range of people with a variety of needs. As a Support Practitioner (Forensic), you will be involved in helping to promote a good life model for the people we support in order to reduce reoffending and encourage reintegration into the local community. As part of the Forensic outreach team, you will work with adults of a wide age range and with varying needs; including challenging behaviour, Autism, Personality Disorder, Learning Disability and mental health problems. This is a challenging and rewarding role, and candidates should be self aware, open-minded, enthusiastic, non-judgemental and committed to making a positive impact. Day to day, this role entails: Providing support in all aspects of daily living, such as managing household tasks, medication or promoting healthy choices. Encouraging, organising and attending activities i.e. sports or days out. Ensuring any legal or mental health orders (i.e. Community Treatment Orders) are adhered to. Record keeping and reporting to senior staff members. Maintaining professional boundaries at all times and following company policies and protocols.
