Senior Front-End Developer - JavaScript frameworks- Data Analytics This is an exciting opportunity for a big data and advanced analytics business who deliver insights through predictive analytics and machine learning approaches. The business is expanding, and they are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, reporting to a Development Team Leader, you will join a team that comes from a wide range of industries and technology environments. You will be creating data drive products that leverage shared and linked data. Experience Required: They require someone who can fit into just one or more of the following four areas. They are not expecting a generalist with experience in all areas. Their team is expanding over the next 12 months, you can specialise in one of the following areas: 1)Programming languages: Two or more commercial programming languages and environments including at least one of Python or JavaScript, in a Linux environment. 2)For data engineers and back-end developers: Strong experience of: -Delivering data platforms with a variety of data stores (e.g. relational, columnar, triplestores, graph databases). -Designing and building data architectures for performance and integrity. -Big data processing tools and technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Pachyderm). 3)For front-end developers: Strong experience with one or more front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue, in a data-centric environment. 4)For knowledge engineers: Real-world experience implementing semantic web and linked data concepts. It is also important you have experience within agile/DevOps and Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google) environments.
