Overview
Toolmaker required to join to join a well-established manufacturing company who specialise in component parts for use in the Automotive, Aerospace, Defence and Electronics. Based at their production facility in the High Wycombe area, the Toolmaker will be hands on and will have a solid background of working in a tool room with experience as a precision tool maker. Tool Maker Position Overview Design and develop new press tools, Jigs, fixings and tool modifications To utilise CAD based computer systems to ensure accuracy of tooling data / drawings To be familiar with press work Maintain, Repair and troubleshoot Single Stage, Multi Stage, Assembly and Progression Tools Tool Maker Position Requirements Experience of Press Tools or Progression Tools manufacturing. Ability to utilise standard tool room machinery equipment including Grinding and hand finishing tools. Ability to design, develop & produce high quality jigs and fixtures for production equipment.
