Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Machine Tool Maintenance Engineer to join our WPS - FM team in Brixworth. Reporting into the Maintenance Department Team Leader, you will be responsible for both the reactive and planned maintenance of machine tools and automation equipment with the aim to ensure minimal possible disruption and down time to the production. Some of the Resident Engineer's Key Accountabilities will include: * To work to a high standard at all times to ensure the machines are maintained to a level to ensure process capability. * Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out; ensure that reactive repairs are carried out to all machine tool equipment and systems to meet customer and business expectations. * Ensure that suitable replacement parts are ordered, and spare part stocks are maintained. * Ensure that engineering sub-contractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes. * Ensure the provision of a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all Company policies, procedures and working arrangements as required. We are looking for a highly professional, articulate and enthusiastic individual who has strong verbal and communication skills. To be successful in the role you will have Comprehensive mechanical and electrical engineering experience, undertaking reactive and planned preventative maintenance in a fast paced, highly dynamic and constantly demanding environment.
