Overview
My client, a multi-site high street firm, is recognised for being one of the leaders in the Derby market and now seeks a commercial litigation solicitor or legal executive to join its well-established team. You will join a team of five fee earners plus support staff, consisting of three senior litigators/partners and a trainee. This position will sit in the middle of the structure, offering lots of professional support but also progression opportunities. This is a replacement role so there is an active caseload to take over, however all team members are encouraged to build up their client base through business development initiatives and networking. Your caseload will consist of matters such as property litigation, debt recovery and general contractual disputes. As a commercial litigation solicitor or legal executive, your client base will include local businesses and larger household names. My client is ideally looking for someone NQ or with up to 3-years' PQE to join the team. For those at the NQ level, you should be able to demonstrate having completed at least one seat in commercial litigation.
