Overview
My client, a Legal 500 ranked commercial firm with a strong East Midlands presence, seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor with 5 years' PQE to join the Derby office. The firm is multi-site with offices across the Midlands and has one of the strongest Disputes teams in the region. The firm's Disputes Team deals with a range of contentious matters including business disputes, professional negligence, banking and finance litigation, property litigation and construction, contentious probate and inheritance disputes, as well as intellectual property litigation and insolvency. The Derby team is sizable and you will benefit from the support and guidance of two very experienced commercial litigation partners. As a commercial litigation solicitor, you will be given your own caseload to manage, as well as access to paralegal support. The team tends to take on a lot of professional negligence matters so those who have particular expertise in this area would be highly desirable. As with all legal roles today, this role will include an element of business development so the interested candidate will be willing to get involved in marketing and networking events.
