Permanent Commercial Manager, Derbyshire, Highways Infrastructure, Highly competitive salary Package Your new company You will be working for a national contractor that are widely recognised as a leading industry specialist in the highways, roads and infrastructure sector. Due to continued growth and expansion the company are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their ranks. Your new role You will be responsible for a team of 4 currently however this number is highly likely to increase as the growth plan is carried out. You will be in charge of day to day process and have a strong understanding of bid writing, estimating and surveying disciplines in order to drive the business forward. Duties will include; Identify, generate, maintain and manage relationships with key clients. Establishing targets and objectives to deliver company strategy. You will need to manage a commercial pipeline to proactively identify business opportunities and ensure accurate forecasting. The role will also involve seeking out new business opportunities and working collaboratively. What you'll need to succeed This role requires a candidate with a diverse and adaptable skill set. You will need to be able to demonstrate excellent commercial understanding and ideally have a track record of business development or sales within a similar role. You will possess high negotiation and interpersonal skills, along with sound strategic, budgetary and financial knowledge.
