Breedon are currently seeking a Regional Commercial Manager for our Southern Contracting business, based at our head office in Breedon on the Hill near Derby. Breedon is a leading construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland. We produce cement, aggregates, asphalt, ready-mixed concrete, Welsh slate and specialist concrete and clay products, and offer a range of contracting services. Reporting to the General Manager Contracting, you will be responsible for leading the commercial function to identify and secure key client relationships and opportunities, whilst delivering exceptional customer service, in order to deliver the agreed business strategy. The key responsibilities of the role are: Identify, generate, maintain and manage relationships with key clients. Lead the commercial team, establishing targets and objectives to deliver our strategy. Ensure effective bid management, delivering first class quality submissions. Manage a commercial pipeline to proactively manage business opportunities and ensure accurate business forecasting. Identify solutions and opportunities and grow the business into opportunity markets. Liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of our strategic objectives . From a commercial and /or business development/sales background, you will possess excellent selling, negotiation and interpersonal skills, along with sound strategic, budgetary and financial knowledge. It is also essential that you are IT literate and have excellent leadership, organisational, presentation and analytical skills. It would be advantageous if you possess relevant industry and product knowledge.
