Overview

Our blue-chip client based in Corby has a number of exciting opportunities to work within their brand-new vibrant call centre. This role is for a Customer Service Advisor to work on the Twilight shift. The hours of work are between 6pm - 10pm, this will include weekends and bank holidays on a rota'd basis. The main focus of this role will be to deliver outstanding customer service, creating a positive impression of the company. · Handle customer enquires via incoming telephone calls for the services offered: - Registering appliance warranties - Offering extended warranties - Booking engineer service visits - Identify and order spare parts and accessories - Provide and assist with trouble shooting and ongoing maintenance of an appliance - Providing pre-purchase advice and replacement appliances. - Support overseas phone lines - Provide external support to global phone lines where needed · To ensure that telephone calls are dealt with promptly and efficiently, ensuring that Call Targets and Quality Targets are met. · To provide support where required to other departments i.e. Admin · To complete any emails in line with Company Standards ensuring all Email Targets and Quality Targets are met. · To act in a manner which is efficient, orderly and timely ensuring tasks are achieved within the set timescales · To provide resolution and goodwill in line with company guidelines and processes. · To conform to GDPR legislation and ensuring full confidentiality at all times. · To liaise internally with departments i.e. Resource Planning, Customer Liaison, Field Support, Product Queries and Technical. · To maintain a professional attitude, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. · Be flexible in your approach to meet the changing needs of the business consistent with training, experience and contract of employment. The Candidate · A minimum of 12 months Customer Service experience · Good degree of computer literacy · Ability to type and talk · Ability to work as an individual whilst contributing to the overall success of the team · Can effectively problem solve and deal with difficult customers · Actively take ownership · Soft Selling Skills - abilty to upsell products · Structured approach to hitting goals and deadlines · Telephone communication skills · Be customer focused · Accuracy · Able to work under pressure · Be self-motivated · Empathetic · Problem solving skills · Flexible · Pro-active · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · Desire to develop and obtain new skills · Culturally sensitive In return our client offers brand new purpose built offices and a competitive salary and benefits package together with genuine opportunitys for career progression.
