Overview

Reed HR are partnering exclusively with a leading Care organisation based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, who are looking for a talented Head of Resourcing and Development to join them on a permanent basis. In this role you will report in to the Chief Executive Officer and be a key member of their Senior Management Team. With significant growth plans over the next eighteen months, this is an exciting time to join their organisation and play an integral role to their continued success and expansion. Duties and Responsibilities include: Provide strategic leadership and effective management of HR, Resourcing and Development Implement and develop the business’ people strategy incorporating recruitment, induction, remuneration, retention, development and training Providing HR expertise and advice to the Senior Management Team and wider business as required HR expertise in cross functional strategic and operational projects Responsible for operational HR systems including Applicant Tracking Systems and Learning Management systems Work collaboratively with operational colleagues to support the business including the management and safe reduction of agency and solving resourcing ad development challenges Capture and utilisation of market intelligence, benchmarking Line management responsibility of three direct reports Build long term relationships with Trade Union representatives, training, apprenticeship providers and agencies Contribute to achievement of operational and financial targets Responsible for Employee Relation issues for their Leeds office employees Compliance and report writing including Modern Slavery, Gender reporting and subject access requests Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in partnership with the Head of Employee Relations Responsible for ad hoc projects in line with Group’s strategic objectives This role is based in their Leeds office and requires travel as and when required Experience and Skills required for this role: CIPD qualified or working towards Can communicate confidently with people at all levels A proven problem solver Highly developed verbal and written reporting skills This role offers a highly competitive salary plus excellent additional Benefits including car allowance, Pension scheme, 25 days holiday BH and many more.
