Overview
Internal Auditor Role - Central Edinburgh - Competitive Salary Your new company You will be joining one of the leading independent firms of Chartered Accountants and business advisers in Scotland. Due to continued growth, a vacancy has arisen in the firm's Public Sector and Internal Audit team, who manage a varied portfolio of internal audits for a wide range of prestigious public sector and commercial clients, based across Scotland. Your new role Responsibilities will include covering all stages of the audit, from the planning, to the fieldwork and through to completion of the audit assignments. You will also be leading a team of trainees in a client facing role and working closely with the management team to complete work within set budgets and timescales. What you'll need to succeed You will either be fully qualified (CA, CIA or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience - within the public-sector. Internal audit experience is also desired, however external audit would also be considered. You will need to have the ability to work to strict deadlines, will have strong technical skills and also strong communication skills. Previous experience coaching and mentoring will be advantageous also.
