Financial Controller
Overview
An opportunity to join an international Aerospace and Defence company as a Financial Controller for an initial 12 month contract, which is likely to be extended. As a Financial Controller in this company, you will be based in the Filton office. The successful candidate will provide financial visibility to the operational Plant Community Manager and Community Business Manager, on shared targets regarding Function Cost and Resource, Continuous Support and Plant related New & Continuous Development. This is not a Back-Office, Financial Analyst activity and is more of a Client-Focused, Business Partnering type role. Responsibilities: Support Plant and Plant Community Manager to ensure consistency between Plant and Community assumptions for various Planning and Forecast activities in respect to financial target achievement (Plant as well as shared Community targets) This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the company's success, reputation and sustainable growth Ensure consistency and transparency on financial impacts of Community performance with respect to Plant target achievements Support Plant Community Manager to define KPI targets (e.g. Cost of non-Quality per Program) and ensure adherence to the current Plant RC & NRC targets This role may involve some travel for business About you: Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Qualified with at least 5 years Post-Qualification experience in a large Manufacturing environment Working very much as part of a team Ability to Stakeholder Manage Senior Finance & Operational Leaders Deliver Simple, Executive Summary style messages and lift themselves out of the detail Anticipation, Influencing & Negotiation skills are key Always looking for the Win-Win Benefits: Up to £23.03 PAYE On-site parking If you are interested in working for this amazing company, please apply online or contact Liam Hancock at Acorn, Newport.
