Overview
Accountable Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of an expanding company based on the outskirts of Chester for an Interim Financial Accountant. Due to recent and continuing expansion through acquisitions, my client is looking to recruit an ambitious individual to join the team and add technical expertise to the team. Key day to day duties will include: Source, and manage the implementation of, Statutory Accounts production software With focus on accounting practice and reporting Responsible for running and supporting period end processes, with emphasis on controls across the general ledger process and balance reconciliations Supporting accurate completion of VAT and other statutory returns and foreign currency management. We would expect the candidate may also assist the Finance Analysts with the preparation of audit packs where time permits. The role is a six-month contract, running from April/May to around October, due to our year-end being 31 March. The expanding nature of the business means there may be opportunity for the contract to be extended or the successful candidate to apply for a permanent position in the team. Desired Experience The role would suit candidates with significant prior experience of Statutory Accounts preparation.
