Overview
Dartmouth are working exclusively with a prolific mid-market private equity house to find an immediately available CFO for a newly acquired portfolio platform. The company have an innovative software product that is poised to disrupt hospitality market. Based in Shoreditch the business are seeking a senior finance professional to head up the finance team and lead on M&A activity. The company has ambitious plans to grow further through a mix of organic and acquisitive expansion with an eventual aim to transact the business within a 5-year period. To achieve this, they are looking to recruit a solid Chief Financial Officer that can partner with the various stakeholders within the business. The role will combine a hands-on element, particularly regarding the establishment of systems, processes and controls, with a more strategic and commercial outward facing role. Key Responsibilities: To oversee the financial and commercial functions across the group Partner with the CEO to bring the strategic vision of the business to life Developing and executing an exit strategy for the business Leading and executing a significant M&A expansion plan Cultivating stakeholder relationships internally and externally Take an active role in developing and driving the strategic focus of the organisation Leadership of a large finance team including upskilling Leading pitching and winning new business Monitor banking activities of the organisation Review and monitoring of Group statutory accounts & tax position, calculations and filings Desired Skills and Experience: Ideally immediately available Experience working with Private Equity backed business and delivering an exit - Essential Working within a recurring revenue or SaaS business - Essential Significant M&A exposure - Essential Chartered Accountant or similar qualification Extensive experience in developing relationships with demanding stakeholders
