Overview
FRS are assisting a reputable and ever expanding business with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant. You will be working within a small finance team and working directly with the Financial Controller on a daily basis, supporting the month end processes and managing the transactional finance within the business. Ideally you will hold a form of accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) and have an SME background with a good understanding of MS Excel. Duties will include: Management of the Sales & Purchase Ledgers Assisting with Credit Control Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts Supporting the reporting processes VAT returns Balance sheet reconciliations Prepayments, accruals and journals
