Overview
Immediate starters required Pioneering tech company requires an immediately available qualified accountant with excellent managerial skills and a desire for being part of a fast paced high growth organisation. As the UK Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include: • Production of the UK Group's Monthly Management Accounts – including the UK group consolidation and KPIs • Management of the finance team (comprising 5 for this Division) • Commercial and variance analysis per segment and geographical region • Create commentary around the KPI's that add insight to support strategic decision making • Prepare the budget and forecast for all UK entities • Provide commentaries of budget/forecast vs actuals and trending P&L • Support the budgeting and forecasting process of the wider Group • Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders • Cash flow forecasting and consolidation • Manage the UK Group audit process • Prepare statutory accounts for all UK entities under FRS 102 • Support in production of year end and interim accounts (to IFRS) You should have strong IFRS & FRS 102 knowledge • Review of the balance sheet position each month • Review consolidation and month end process and streamline reporting • Review Quarterly VAT declaration You will have: • Strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, a pragmatic and proactive approach • Good management skills • Prior knowledge of working in a Plc would be helpful • The ability to work to tight reporting deadlines • Some knowledge of corporation tax would be advantageous You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
