Overview

Our client has got a short-medium term need to support their HR team on management of case load both from a capacity and capability perspective, helping them to build sustainable and consistent ways of working on Employee Relations. Client Details Large FMCG organisation Description As Employee Relations Manager: You will work closely with the SN HR Business Partners/HR Managers and line managers to ensure the case load is managed consistently well and in turn support the delivery of the organisation and people strategy. You will be a recognised expert in employee relations and a front line member of the HR Team, acting as the custodian of ensuring that we do things 'the right way'. You will own the end to end management of both basic and more complex employee relations case work, supporting and upskilling Line Managers through the steps and educating them on policy. The role will support all functions however will likely focus most on the Medical and Support Functions which typically bear the highest case load. You will work in close proximity with the HR team to coach & support people managers to manage all employee relations casework including performance, sickness, conflict resolution and absence management. Act as the "expert" within the team, both consulting with the HR team on complex disciplinary and grievance cases and leading them with line managers where required. Profile You will have: Excellent employee relations background, able to act with confidence & autonomy in managing complex cases for example grievance, disciplinary, performance management. Experience of manufacturing/customer contact centre environment would be advantageous CIPD Level 5 qualified (intermediate) or equivalent HR experience Strong stakeholder management, able to coach & challenge managers at all levels Great people skills, able to listen and respond with empathy but still managing the business agenda Adaptable and able to cope with ambiguity & pace of change Able to take the initiative & lead others to drive and manage projects Rigour & commitment to excellence with good attention to detail Internal curiosity and a desire to learn internally and externally, identifying and implementing best practice Flexibility to travel Job Offer Salary £42,000-£45,000bonus 5-10%
