Overview

Are you a Housing professional who thrives on working proactively within the community? We are searching for three Neighbourhood Impact Workers to have a frontline presence on their own patch within our housing portfolio. This exciting and newly developed position is ideal for those who want to be out and about making a difference and not tied to a desk. We are looking for people who want to work proactively to make a difference on our local estates, build relationships and troubleshoot problems. You must have a strong customer ethos and a 'right first time’ approach, a passion for improving services and delivering the Association’s vision and be committed to your own personal development. The role is based in New Basford, Nottingham, however travel to and from surrounding areas will be frequent, so a driving license and a vehicle is essential. This is not a typical 9-5 role so you will be able to work your hours flexibly from Monday to Friday, delivering a total of 37 hours per week. What is the role of the Neighbourhood Impact Worker? You will establish and maintain a visible presence on your patch; ensuring that estates are regularly monitored and well maintained, and that the tenancy and estate management service reflects the needs and aspirations of our residents. You will proactively support customers to help them sustain their tenancy and you will be visiting customers in their homes or other appropriate venues to deliver information and advice in relation to housing management. You will carry out regular estate inspections and take relevant action as appropriate to improve the estates, encouraging residents, partners and stakeholders to assist. You will work closely and supportively alongside agencies and colleagues in other departments to ensure that our estates and communities are managed effectively and that our residents receive a holistic service.
